Electricity supply
Supplied with 100% green electricity by EWS, electricity is saved using power outlets with regular switches, timers or demand switches. All conventional light bulbs were replaced with energy-saving light bulbs.

Office stationery
We buy all our office stationery from Memo. Paper = 100% recycled paper. Paper is printed double-sided/reused.

Furniture
Partly furniture from Memo, partly from old stock. Our latest object of fascination is the “Cradle to Cradle” chair by Herman Miller.

Driving to work
Almost exclusively by public transport or bicycle. No company cars. Martin Kleene drives a Smart, and is otherwise an avid car-sharer. Gregor Wöltje is eagerly waiting for his Tesla, which he will then operate using green electricity.

Business trips
Our preferred mode of transport is by train. We also place an emphasis on video conferences and e-learning. If traveling by plane is unavoidable, we fly economy and balance out our CO2 emission with Climate Partner.

Garbage (separation)
Garbage avoidance program. Return of cardboard and packaging. Separated into: paper, metal, glass, plastic, hazardous and residual waste.

Cleaning agents
We only use cleaning agents that are not harmful to the environment.

Hospitality
Everything is organic. Coffee/tee: organic + fair-trade. Tap water instead of bottled water.

All company activities – from office work and travels to events and server operations – are made completely climate-neutral in cooperation with Climate Partner.
